Feldenkrais Method
with Nathalie Jonas - Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner

6 Week Workshop starts in January - $150 Thursdays 6:00 - 7:15pm (1/21 - 2/25)
The Feldenkrais method uses a series of gentle, organized movements that encourage awareness and enhance the way you move as a whole person. It emphasizes the value of being curious about how you move and how you feel and think about yourself.
Awareness Through Movement (ATM) classes are given in group settings. As a student you begin by lying on the floor or sitting on a chair. The teacher then verbally guides you through a series of movements and qualities of attention. Through these lessons, done easily, slowly and with a fine awareness, the student is able to expand his or her self-image. In ATM classes the teacher creates a safe context in which the student can learn and change. The experience of taking these classes can also generate other ways of being in tune with one's self beyond the physical.
